I attended the UPSC ESE interview twice, these are the questions asked to me. I also gave a brief background of mine for the viewers to get an idea as to why those questions were asked to ne by the panel.
UPSC ESE 2014 interview. I scored 124/130 in my interview. Final result- Not recommended.

  1. Why not IAS, as most of iitians now a days prefer IAS. (attender enters the room to serve coffee to panel members)
  2. If I place this cup with coffee in a oven, Why will liquid heat or the cup heat.
  3. Why will the cup not heat.

UPSC ESE 2016 interview. I scored 130/200 in my interview. Final result- AIR 17.
Most of the questions are based on Work profile, Subjects mentioned in DAF, Current affairs related to Telecom, Railways and VLSI technology.
Job: Applications Engineer, Applied Materials. Samsung was one of our customer and I was working in Samsung R&D, Korea for few months.
