Some good backup options for UPSC aspirants

What all exams you can give along with UPSC :

1. Various exams conducted by UPSC : most are group A like CAPF, IES.
2. State PCS exams
3. SSC
4. RBI grade b, NABARD
5. Banking exams

You can prepare along with these jobs. So do not fear that you will be deviated.

Relatively easier things all you can do:

1. You can do MA or MSc or BEd directly or through correspondence during preparation through IGNOU
2. You can take PhD admission and prepare. For 1–2 years there is less work and you get good amount of scholarship too. And if you won't be able to crack then you can become a lecture or professor

Those who are directly joining after College

1. Can do Masters or PhD along with preparation. Career should go on.
2. They can plan for other exams

People who are doing jobs and want to prepare :

1. Do not directly jump. First read and prepare while doing job. Get confidence.
2. If possible instead of quitting, take sabatical leave.

Those who are above 26–27 and not working yet :

1. Please a humble request prepare for other exams as well. This exam is very ruthless.
2. First have a job. It is crucial for confidence.

Those who do not have good financial background from family :

1. Please have a back up.
2. At times your parents will be fed up with you.
3. Financial independence will ensure more confidence and positivity in you and you will be less stressed out.

Why back up is crucial :

1. Failure rates are very high. You will see successful people. Those who fail in this exam they dispaper into oblivion.
2. It saves you from your relatives, else you know.
3. It makes you financial independent and it matters a lot.
